 Dr. Mark Tindall was born in Kirksville, Missouri on March 25, 1974. He lived in Kirksville throughout his adolescence until moving with his family to Columbia, Missouri and graduating from Hickman High School. Dr. Tindall earned a BA in Biology at the University of Missouri in 1996 and was accepted into the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry in 1997. At UMKC he earned his Doctrine of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree, with distinction, in 2001.
Dr. Tindall continued his education to receive his Master of Science in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics at Boston University Goldman School of Medicine in 2004. The orthodontic program in Boston is considered to be one of the top orthodontic residencies in the country. Dr. Tindall had the privilege of being mentored by past chairman, Dr. Anthony Gianelly. Dr. Gianelly is internationally known as one of the best educators, researchers, and lecturers in orthodontics. The orthodontists who are trained at Boston University are taught to treat the most complicated of orthodontic malocclusions, including patients who need orthognathic jaw surgery in conjunction with orthodontics.

Dr. Tindall currently resides in Manhattan, Kansas with his beautiful wife, Jennifer. Jennifer is a native of the Manhattan area where she graduated from Manhattan High School and is currently a general dentist in the area.
